This Neymar kid might just be something, eh?
While the rest of the world is qualifying for the next World Cup, Neymar and Brazil are out playing a seemingly endless series of friendlies against teams from all over.
Friendlies, you ask?
As hosts of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Brazil are exempt from the grueling melee that is South American qualifying. Instead of playing qualification matches, the Brazilians will be playing friendlies until the summer of 2014.
If Monday was any indication, the rest of the world will be in big trouble two summers from now. Neymar scored a slick hat trick, and Brazil mopped the floor with China in an 8-0 blowout in Recife, Brazil.
Neymar, the 20-year-old Santos forward who's coveted by every rich European club out there, bagged goals in the 25th, 54th and 60th minutes. Ramires, Lucas, Hulk and Oscar (penalty) also scored, and China defender Jianye Liu had an own goal in the 70th minute.
All the highlights appear above. The video serves as the Set Piece video of the day. Enjoy.
Neymar also missed a glorious chance in the first half, so he really should have had four goals. Click here to watch the miss.
As for the rest of the goals, my pick for the best is actually Liu's own goal. Don't believe it? See for yourself here.
