With Jennings reportedly out for Sunday's game against the Texans, fantasy owners and fans should expect to see a heavy dose of Maurice Jones-Drew.

UPDATE: Thursday, September 13 at 12:40 p.m. ET by Timothy Rapp
It's beginning to look more and more unlikely that Jennings will play on Sunday against the Houston Texans. John Oehser from Jaguars.com has the latest from Thursday's practice:
"LB Daryl Smith, G Eben Britton, RT Cam Bradfield, RB Rashad Jennings not practicing; CB Derek Cox working during open media time #jaguars

In fantasy terms, owners of Maurice Jones-Drew should absolutely start him given Jennings' status. Even if he does suit up, it looks as though Jennings will be limited.
It also looks as though any potential battle for carries after MJD's holdout will end before it really began.

UPDATE: Wednesday, September 12 at 12:30 p.m. ET by Ben Chodos
There is still hope for running back Rashad Jennings suiting up for the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend against the Houston Texans.
Mark Long of the Associated Press reported via Twitter that head coach Mike Mularkey is not giving up hope that Jennings will be able to play.
"Mularkey says Jennings (knee) and Bradfield (ankle) have not been ruled out this week vs. Texans. #Jaguars

Jennings presence will give the team depth in the backfield, but his absence will not be a huge blow because Maurice Jones-Drew is available.

There is good news and bad news on the Jaguars running back front heading into Week 2. The bad news is, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, Jennings is not likely to be on the field.
"The biggie today will be the MRI results for running back Rashad Jennings (knee) and RT Cameron Bradfield (ankle). Coach Mike Mularkey on Monday said he doesn’t expect to have them available for Sunday’s game against Houston.
"
The good news is, the Jaguars happen to have a nice insurance policy in the form of Maurice Jones-Drew, who had 19 carries for 77 yards in the season opener despite missing the entire preseason.

According to the staff at Rotoworld, it’s believed that Jennings is being held out with a knee injury. He was initially listed as “probable” to return but has since been moved to “questionable.”
Jennings finished the day with eight carries for 31 yards and one reception for a total of nine yards.
Maurice Jones-Drew, the Jags' “backup” for this contest, has rushed for 68 yards on 17 carries and has one catch for eight yards.
MJD is likely going to get the lion’s share of the touches out of the backfield for the remainder of the game.
