A-Rod Meets with League Officials and Was "Cooperative"

Kevin RozellMar 2, 2009

(The Voice of Yankees Universe)

Alex Rodriguez met with Major League Baseball officials yesterday. The word from the commissioner’s office was that he was cooperative during the interview.  They didn’t really say anything about how much he told them about his steroid use, and they didn’t make any additional comments.

Alex’s two lawyers, Jay Reisinger and James E. Sharp, were with him during the meeting in Tampa. According to a source,  general counsel Michael Weiner, MLB vice president of investigations Dan Mullin, MLB executive vice president for labor relations Rob Manfred, and senior vice president and general counsel for labor Dan Halem were all in attendance at the meeting. I’m sure some more information on the meeting will be released soon.
