Andrew Wiggins is the most heavily coveted player in the 2014 class. The 6'7” small forward from Huntington Prep definitely has caught the eye of Kentucky coach John Calipari.

Calipari has made Wiggins a top priority on his recruiting board. The talented junior made two unofficial visits to Lexington last year. UK is the only college Wiggins has visited so far.

According to Steve Jones of The Courier-Journal, Kentucky will have two of Wiggins' teammates from Huntington Prep visiting this weekend. Senior center Dominic Woodson and sophomore wing Montaque Gill-Caesar are both planning on making the trip to Lexington together.

Wiggins is ranked as the top player in his class by all the major scouting sites. He has offers from Kentucky, Florida State, North Carolina, Syracuse and West Virginia. says of him:

“Andrew is very skilled and very athletic young wing. He's a long, skilled perimeter player who can play the 2, 3 or 4. It's his physical talent that makes him stand out right now. He has a complete package from being an elite athlete to possessing high perimeter skill.”

I recently talked to Wiggins coach at Huntington Prep, Rob Fulford, about his star player's interest in Kentucky:

Bleacher Report: How much interest is Kentucky giving to Andrew?

Rob Fulford: Kentucky is giving him the maximum attention.

BR: Would you say Kentucky is his favorite right now?

RF: Too early to say who favorite is. But, they will be there at the end.

BR: Does he have any visits planned for Kentucky?

RF: Not at this time.

BR: What type of skills would he bring to a college team?

RF: Anything you need him to bring...he has it.

BR: What type of teammate is he?

RF: Great teammate. Very unselfish and very efficient. Guys love playing with him.

BR: Is he still planning on reclassifying for the 2013 class?

RF: As of now, the plan is still 2014. No change to that as of yet.
