WWE Opinion: Why a Paul Heyman Stable Needs to Happen Sooner Rather Than Later

This past Monday, the WWE managed to surprise us all as CM Punk left the arena in a car driven by the one and only Paul Heyman. With Heyman still considered the spokesperson for Brock Lesnar, you have to think a stable could eventually be in the works.

It is a known fact that Paul Heyman is one of the best talkers in WWE history. Combine his skills with CM Punk, and there is no doubt that historic promos will be created. Combine that with the absolute monster known as Brock Lesnar and you have all the makings for a unstoppable stable. Add in a youngster or two (Dean Ambrose ring a bell?), and this stable could be one of the best ever.

Brock Lesnar's most recent run, in all honesty, really left me shaking my head. After a tough loss to John Cena, Brock picked up a predictable win over Triple H before "quitting." In my opinion, he needs to return and redeem what was a pretty lackluster run. Another run of dominance would help us all quickly forget about the rough start.

In recent history, stables have really fallen off the map. Sure, we had the Nexus and even The Corre, but neither were really able to last very long. The Nexus seemed like it had the ability to go far, but the WWE never really pulled the trigger and the storyline eventually lost steam.

While the WWE may not be big on stables right now, there is no denying the connection that CM Punk and Brock Lesnar now share. Heck, the WWE may even be thinking about Brock vs. Punk, but I'm more in favor of a stable. I'm not saying that the two could one day go at it, but not anytime soon.

As I said, these three alone could create history. Adding a few more studs would just be the icing on the cake. This ongoing angle has the ability to be the best in recent memory, as long as the WWE pulls it off right. I'm looking forward to seeing the relationship between CM Punk and Paul Heyman be revealed, along with the possible involvement of Brock Lesnar. However, as of right now, we will just have to wait and see.
