Read on to see who could be coming to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Cesar Azpilicueta and Gael Kakuta
We kick off with a transfer double featuring both Chelsea target Cesar Azpilicueta and current Blues winger Gael Kakuta.
According to The Daily Mirror, Marseille want Kakuta in a part-exchange deal for Azpilicueta. The Blues have been linked with the Spaniard throughout the summer transfer window, and the French club are believed to be willing to settle for no less than £5 million in addition to the Frenchman.
Victor Moses' possible transfer to Chelsea has been on and off all summer along.
It recently appeared that the club had finally reached a deal, but it turns out that nothing has taken place at all.
The Wigan Athletic winger's agent has denied claims, according to Sky Sports (via Goal.com), that a £9 million deal has been agreed.
According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea are prepared to pull out of their pursuit of Porto striker Hulk after being put off by the club's asking price.
Hulk is believed to be valued at around £40 million by Porto. However, the Blues are seemingly unwilling to meet that valuation,.despite the player suggesting (via talkSPORT) that he would be interested in making a move to the English Premier League.
Sam Hutchinson, the 23-year-old Chelsea defender, is believed to be a loan target for Nottingham Forest this year.
Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll told the Nottingham Evening Post (via The Daily Mail):
He is somebody who is on our radar. He is very highly thought of at Chelsea. That bodes well, if you can get a player of that quality into the club.
It would be a loan signing if we could do it. We are trying to see where the land lies with him and to make something happen, if we can.
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has revealed that he is still unsure as to what his future holds with the Blues (via The Telegraph). Lampard has admitted that he would like to see out his contract at Stamford Bridge, but is unsure if Chelsea will keep him for that long.
The 34-year-old believes that he can still mix with the best in the Premier League, and feels he can remain at the top for several more years if given the chance.
Romelu Lukaku wraps up our transfer news this week.
After arriving at Stamford Bridge for £18 million in August 2011, Lukaku made just 12 appearances and four starts for the Blues and was upset at the lack of opportunities he was given at the London club.
I got sick of watching the others from the bench. I sacrificed a year of my career with them and didn't want to put up with it any more. I won't beat about the bush my season at Chelsea went very badly.
