WWE Raw: Will Damien Sandow Turn Brodus Clay into a Juggernaut?

Before Brodus Clay made his re-debut on WWE TV, the word "juggernaut" was often heard in vignettes promoting his return. 

The definition of "juggernaut" is "a huge, powerful and overwhelming force." Clay is definitely huge, but recently, he hasn't looked very powerful or overwhelming.

For the past two weeks, the self-professed "Intellectual Savior of the Masses"—Damien Sandow—has demolished Clay. Last week, Sandow attacked Clay after interrupting a dance contest between Clay and Vickie Guerrero. Then, last night, Sandow attacked Clay before their scheduled match and seemingly injured Clay's left leg.

WWE is hinting that Clay's leg could be broken. If Clay's leg is in fact broken (for story-line purposes), perhaps this means Clay will drop his "Funkasaurus" gimmick and become the juggernaut most fans expected him to be before he re-debuted. 

Can Clay dance with a broken leg? I know Lisa Turtle from the 90's TV show Saved By the Bell danced with a broken ankle, but Clay has a broken leg! Clay can't possibly continue to dance with a broken leg, can he?

In all seriousness, Clay's funkasaurus gimmick should be dropped immediately, and now is the best time for him to drop it. 

Here's an idea, WWE creative:

Have Clay sell his injury by keeping him off TV for a while. As for Sandow, have him cut a promo next week bashing Clay and foolishness. The following week, have Sandow challenge U.S. champion Santino Marella to a no-DQ match at SummerSlam for the U.S. title.

During the Sandow vs. Santino match at SummerSlam, let's have Clay come out to the ring...and attack Santino! We now have a new U.S. champion (Sandow) and a new-and-improved Brodus Clay. A no-nonsense Brodus Clay. A juggernaut Brodus Clay.

The next night on Raw, have Clay come down to the ring wearing a Sandow-style robe, explain his actions (using big words) and thank Sandow for waking him up.

Okay, let's not go that far, but the funkasaurus gimmick should definitely go.
