Sonny Ship of 247sports.com (subscription only) reports that Priest Willis will have an unofficial visit on the 10th of August.
Priest Willis is ranked as a 5-star recruit by Scout.com and the stud athlete seems to be very interested in considering LSU as a viable destination.
The dynamic player, capable of playing both as a cornerback and safety, first received an offered back in January from Les Miles and the rest of the coaching staff.
With offers from a host of elite college programs like Oklahoma, USC, LSU and Notre Dame, Willis could yet be tempted by a team that constantly sends talented players in the secondary to the NFL.
At 6'2" and close to 200 lbs, Willis already has more than enough size; and this combined with a high 4.3-second 40 time suggests he really is a special athlete.
Willis said, "Everything is going good with LSU right now... Coach Raymond and I have a great relationship and I trust him".
With Nebraska and Notre Dame the two other teams that he seems intent on visiting, getting Willis on campus and encouraging him to join fellow 2013 secondary commits like Jeryl Brazil and Jeremy Cutrer will be vital.
Willis would be a stellar piece to add to the already impressive recruiting class.
Add to that the fact that LSU are still chasing Tahaan Goodman hard and the chances of landing Willis are even better.
Shipp also reports that both players would like to be teammates and that LSU could offer that to the pair.
