It's been a strong summer transfer window so far for Chelsea as manager Roberto Di Matteo and owner Roman Abramovich establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in world football.

The European champions have already spent over £70 million in bringing Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Oscar to the club this summer as they begin their title defense for the upcoming season.

But the Blues aren't done yet, with more players rumored to be joining the club and plenty of players still linked with a move to Stamford Bridge during the transfer window.

Read on to see all the latest Chelsea transfer news and updates.

Kicking off our Chelsea transfer roundup is Borussia Dormund striker Robert Lewandowski, who, despite the contrary being stated several times by Dortmund, is rumored to be making a move away from the club over the summer transfer window (via The Daily Mail).

Chelsea and Manchester United are both believed to be interested in the star striker, with the latter said to be the most likely to land the Polish international should any move be made.

As unlikely as that is.

Andre Schurrle

Chelsea are believed to be making a move for German international Andre Schurrle as the club seek to add further attacking firepower to their already strong squad for the upcoming season.

According to The Daily Mirror, Roberto Di Matteo has been given the go-ahead by the Blues to pursue the 21-year-old, with a £25 million deal rumored to be in consideration.

Cesar Azpilicueta

After having their opening bid for Cesar Azpilicueta rejected by Marseille, Chelsea will reportedly look to increase their offer for the talented right-back, according to The Daily Mail.

Right-back is one of the few positions that Chelsea actually need to sign players for, and although their opening offer is £5 million for the Spanish international, expect the Blues to increase their next bid to around £8 million and sign the talented defender.

In my humble opinion, anyway.

Ashley Cole

Ashley Cole's future at Stamford Bridge continues to be a topic of great discussion, with the defender continually rumored to be making a move away from the London club.

According to The Daily Star, Cole is believed to want around £200,000 per week in his new contract at the club, which he is yet to agree to. Otherwise, he will leave the European Champions for a better offer.

The deal would place the 30-year-old on the same wage scale as John Terry, Frank Lampard and young sensation Eden Hazard.

Neymar

Yes, Neymar and Chelsea have been mentioned in the same sentence—everybody calm down for a moment.

The news around world football cult hero Neymar has more to do with latest recruit Oscar than the Santos attacker himself. The 20-year-old told The People (h/t Football 365) that he has been trying to convince Neymar to move to Chelsea this summer:

While we are in London [for the Olympic Games], I have been telling Neymar about the ambition of Chelsea. When the time comes for him to join a European club, I hope I can persuade him...

We wrap up the latest Chelsea transfer updates with the news that the Blues are continuing their chase for Wigan Athletic winger Victor Moses.

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea are closing in on a deal with Moses after his current club, Wigan, made an inquiry for Everton's Victor Anichebe.
