Let me start by saying that I have eliminated all drivers who run a full Sprint Cup schedule from my Nationwide races and points system in order to form the real Nationwide Results.
If Joe Gibbs wants their results to count, they should use Brad Colemen in the No. 18 and Marc Davis in the No. 20.
KHI should have used driver Cale Gale in the No. 33, Roush should have used Colin Braun in the No. 6, Ricky Stenhouse in the No. 60, and Eric Darrnell in the No. 16.
RCR should have used Stephen Lieght in the No. 29.
Braun Racing should have used James Brusher in the No. 10 and Burney Lamar in the No.32.
MWR should have used Josh Wise in the No. 99.
That's just how I see things.
Saturday night's race saw rookie Brendan Gaughan (the real winner of yesterday's Nationwide race at the Auto Club Speedway) take the points lead away from Daytona winner Jason Keller.
Rounding out the top five were:
2. Steven Wallace
3. Jason Leffler
4. Scott Laggasse Jr.
5. Mike Bliss
I determined the points system using the current Nationwide one, removing all Cup guys and moving the Nationwide drivers up to those spots. Also, I removed any bonus points from the drivers, even if they did lead a lap (sorry Brad K, Kenny, and Jason). There is no way to tell who or how many laps they would have lead.
