Arsenal’s summer transfer window will seemingly be defined by whether they sell Robin van Persie or keep their star striker for the upcoming English Premier League season.

In reality, their transfer window is far bigger than their captain and star striker, with the Gunners reportedly interested in several high-profile stars and linked to several others already this summer.

We’ve put all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumors in the one place for you, so read on to find out the latest on Van Persie, Yann M’Vila, Nuri Sahin and more, and see who could be making their way to the Emirates this summer.

Kicking off our list is Arsenal striker Benik Afobe who is wanted by Bolton Wanderers on loan for the upcoming season to help the club push for promotion.

The English international could use some time at "finishing school," as put by Bolton boss Owen Coyle—developing from a 19-year-old striker into a stronger, more dominant attacker that could become a regular starter at the Emirates.

Two more updates on the Robin van Persie Saga—the first of which being Manchester City potentially conceding defeat in the race for the Gunners striker.

Manager Robert Mancini has indicated that the club faces an uphill battle to land the Dutch international and are unlikely to do so in the summer transfer window, per The Sun.

Also—believe it or not—Juventus are rumored to be putting together a £70 million pound attempt to bring Van Persie to Italy, including £190,000 per week after tax. For a club that reportedly didn't have much money, that truly would be something.

Arsenal are believed to be making a move for Southampton defender Luke Shaw—a highly-rated teenager who has already made his first-team debut last season.

Shaw was the subject of a £4 million bid from Chelsea last summer, and it is believed that the Gunners are preparing a move lucrative package for the 17-year-old.

Given the club's recent success in nurturing youngsters and giving them quality playing time—Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain—Shaw may well find a move to the London club appealing and beneficial to his football development.

According to latest reports, Arsenal are believed to be pushing for a shock move for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin, who will likely miss out on first-team action should the club acquire Croatian midfielder Luka Modric from Tottenham Hotspur.

The 23-year-old managed just one league appearance last season and is desperate to move to the English Premier League, where he is likely to feature in regular first-team action.

Arsenal winger Andrey Arshavin's future at the Emirates might not be completely over, with the 31-year-old set to hold talks with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger about his future this week.

Besiktas coach Samet Aybaba has reportedly revealed that the Turkish club are close to signing misfiring Arsenal forward Marouane Chamakh.

Wrapping up our Arsenal transfer update for this week is French international Yann M'Vila, whom the Gunners were believed to be interested in over the transfer window but have recently ruled out.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out a move for the midfielder, who is expected to quit Rennes and Ligue 1 this summer due to injury and his poor showing at the 2012 European Championships.
