As the Lucas Moura saga apparently winds down, newer rumors keep popping up.

Manchester United might not sign Lucas after all, but one of their Premier League rivals could be nearing a deal for a two-time Euro winner.

Meanwhile, there's news on a Bender, a Bendtner and a Berbatov.

Agent: Lucas Not Leaving

The agent of Brazilian midfielder Lucas Moura says he does not think Manchester United will increase their bid for Lucas (ESPNSoccernet).

United and Sao Paulo have been negotiating a fee for the player, with United's best bid thought to be £35 million. Lucas' agent, Wagner Ribeiro, is saying he thinks that is as high as United will go.

"They have reached their limit," Ribeiro told UOL. "Lucas Moura won't leave. He is happy at Sao Paulo. We have to forget this subject. There is no possibility he leaves now."

"Manchester United made an offer, which was rejected and they won't make another one as they have reached their limit."

Cazorla to Arsenal?

Spanish winger Santi Cazorla has agreed to terms ahead of a potential move from Malaga to Arsenal (The Guardian).

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hopes Malaga will accept an offer of €20 million.

Cazorla, 27, has a buyout clause worth £45 million in his contract, but Malaga's financial difficulties—the big-spending club could be relegated if they fail to pay their debts—might affect the price.

Cazorla has won 45 caps for Spain.

€25 Million for Bender?

Bayer Leverkusen want €25 million for German international midfielder Lars Bender, according to reports out of Germany (Goal.com).

Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has confirmed Bayern's interest in Bender, but Leverkusen officials say Bender will not leave.

"Lars Bender is a cornerstone of our future and we cannot let go of a cornerstone," said Leverkusen CEO Wolfgang Holzhauser.

Bendtner to AC Milan?

AC Milan and Arsenal have started discussions over a potential transfer for Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner to the San Siro (Metro).

Bendtner, 24, spent last season on loan with Sunderland. Milan recently sold Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain.

The transfer reportedly would cost about £7.5 million.

Zenit Want Berbatov?

Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg are the latest club being linked with Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov (talkSPORT).

Berbatov, 31, has reportedly been told he can leave United this summer. He reportedly would be available for about £5 million.
