Robin Van Persie looks all set to be on his way to be playing at Old Trafford this coming season.
The 28-year-old Dutch striker has been the most talked about person in the close season, especially since refusing to sign a new contract at Arsenal, but numerous rumours (h/t The Mirror) are now pointing towards Van Persie joining Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
Arsenal are still set on getting £30 million to prize Van Persie away from The Emirates Stadium, but this money won't scare off any of the clubs who are chasing Van Persie's signature. Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG are also rumoured to be after RVP.
Van Persie was a big hit at The Emirates and has been Arsenal's main player since the departure of Thierry Henry to Barcelona. He hit 30 goals last season and won the Barclays Premierships Golden Boot.
Van Persie is also currently eighth on the all-time goal scoring list for Arsenal. He has scored 132 goals for The Gunners.
Van Persie would join Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell, who have joined Manchester United this summer from Brussia Dortmund and Crewe Alexandra, respectively.
Arsene Wenger has also told Van Persie not to join his team on their preseason tour, and it is hoped that the deal to join Manchester United will be completed as soon as possible.
Elsewhere in the EPL, Everton are on the brink of re-signing Steven Pienaar for a third time as he looks to end his Tottenham misery.
Swansea will not stand in Joe Allen's way if he wants to join Brendon Rodgers in his Liverpool mission.
