CM Punk vs. John Cena: Plenty of "What Ifs" That Need to Be Answered
Here's a thought for Monday night's 1,000th Episode of Raw: What if John Cena loses his Money in the Bank contract match?
As odd as it sounds, after hearing Cena make such a huge proclamation last Monday night on Raw, but what happens if the cash cow actually loses the match to CM Punk?
It could happen. Afterall, Punk has had Cena's number before and the two wrestlers may not be able to get back the magic they created this time last year.
Do I hear "major fail?"
While Punk and Cena is the right move and the idea of the two going after each other again makes everyone in the WWE Universe happy, it may not be as good as advertised, and then what happens?
Look at it this way as well: I can think of at least five things that could happen to throw a wrench in this match, which includes a visit from Big Show, a visit from The Miz and an appearance from John Laurinaitis.
Thank goodness Daniel Bryan is getting married or we could add him to this list of interferences that could doom the match.
And what about a visit from Big Show or The Miz? What about John Laurinaitis making a "surprise" visit to the telecast?
Punk/Cena is the right thing to do, but the circumstances make for an interesting night to say the least.
We, as fans, never saw closure of this feud. Kevin Nash took care of that. We never got to see if there would be a third and decisive match. John Laurinaitis took care of that.
But if Mr. Fruity Peebles wins the match, what happens to Punk? Where does he go, and who does he face? If Punk happens to keep his title, what happens to Cena? Could we finally see a "heel" change in Cena (highly unlikely)?
That would be the biggest surprise of them all.
And in the meantime, we wait three more days to see what "really" will happen.
