While Daniel Bryan’s loss at WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view was a step back in his pursuit of the title, the alliance formed with AJ on the RAW following the event will lead to the duo becoming the most dominant power couple in wrestling history.

Move over Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth, there is a new dynamic duo taking over.

AJ has the casual wrestling fans on the edge of their seats with her crazy antics, and Bryan has the hardcore audience captivated with his in-ring abilities.

Together, they could be a part of the most interesting stories in WWE's history.

With so many possibilities for feuds, opponents and alliances, the WWE used Money in the Bank to catapult this new power couple into the upper echelon of the company.

Add in the fact that the pair will be on SmackDown this Friday as special guests on Christian’s Peep Show and getting married live at RAW’s 1,000th episode, and there is little doubt that the WWE is going all in on this pair.

Just like they did for Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth—see the comparison?

The WWE has the rare chance to take two of the biggest surprise hits of the past five years and combine them with Bryan and AJ. We can’t forget that the majority of the WWE Universe didn’t know who Bryan was when he won the Money in the Bank briefcase, and it was only a few months ago that AJ was nothing to the mainstream  fans.

Now they are two of the hottest names in the company right now; that’s why keeping them paired up and capitalizing on their momentum is what WWE must do.

That means an enormous push.

But how?

John Cena and CM Punk are in the main event battle and Sheamus and Bryan just had an extended feud, so how do you keep Bryan relevant and away from the heavyweight title scenes?

The answer comes this Friday on SmackDown when he and AJ are Intercontinental Champion Christian’s special guests.

With the need to keep D-Bry and AJ near the top of the card to capitalize on their mainstream appeal, the need to keep Bryan away from the main titles for now and the need to legitimize the IC title, the feud between Christian and Bryan is perfect.

With Bryan winning the title with AJ’s help after a hard fought battle, this would set up for an extended feud that would really extend the shelf life of the Bryan/AJ angle, while making the Intercontinental strap look like something people actually want again.

However WWE plays it, they need to keep riding the huge wave of momentum that these two stars have found to even more success. Oh Yeah!
