Well., Well, Well.
The Pistons are back at it again.
It's time for the second half of the NBA season to begin.
And with the NBA All Star Games out of sight and the NBA Playoffs in sight, all fun and games are over.
Hopefully, this is the case for the Pistons. Their last two losses were careless—I believe, to the Kings and the Hawks. Excuse me if I'm wrong, but regardless—it's teams that we are most certainly better then.
At the beginning of the season, I was excited with the new coach, and the arrival of Allen Iverson. But I guess you don't know what you had till it's gone.
Last year, we had the second-best record in the conference, and we could count on our offense in touch situations. Now, we are the seventh! Yes, seventh seed in a horrible conference like the East. And we are not only having problems maintaining leads, but simply, getting leads.
I wish Allen was never voted to the All-Star Game, so he could spend some more time with his teammates. But since that's not the case, I hope they are learning how to play together better during their off time. Because the playoffs are rapidly approaching, and being the seventh or eighth seed would mean playing the Celtics or Cavs, and We'd probably get swept playing them.
We kick off the second half of the season by playing the Bucks. I don't know if its at Home or Away, But I honestly don't care. I know we need to win, and we need a win streak going, to not only get the players motivated, but to get the die-hard Detroit motivated again.
See you all next week. BTW, lets try to land Amare this week!
