Batter Gives Up Mid-AB 🤔

“The Voice of God” Is Getting Ready for Opening Day '09

Bob Sheppard was on Ed Randall’s radio show this morning on WFAN. It was quite a surprise to hear from him. We haven’t heard from him for a long time now, so it’s good to hear that he’s doing well and getting better. He lost a lot of weight while he was sick, but he is back at “good fighting weight.”

He was told by his doctor that when he reached 145 lbs, he would be able to go back to work. He said his current weight is 145.5 lbs. That’s great to hear. Now all he needs to do is work on his stamina. There would be nothing more fitting then having Mr. Sheppard announce the lineup in the first game at the new stadium.
