WWE Raw: Why Undertaker Should Face Heath Slater at 1,000th Raw Episode
F4WOnline (h/t Wrestling Inc.) recently reported that, "Another WWE Legend is scheduled to return to RAW next week for the ongoing storyline with Heath Slater. Word is that there will be a big payoff to the angle here soon, likely on the 1,000th RAW episode."
For those who do not know, Slater has either confronted or been confronted by various "blasts from the past" on Raw each week since June 11. Those "blasts from the past" include Vader, Cyndi Lauper, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Sycho Sid, Doink the Clown and Diamond Dallas Page.
There are two more episodes of Raw until the 1,000th episode. So, who will show up on those episodes (July 9 and 16)?
Your guess is as good as mine.
What about the supposed "big payoff" at the 1,000th episode of Raw?
Perhaps the payoff will revolve around The Undertaker.
Although F4WOnline (h/t Wrestling Inc.) claims Undertaker will return at Survivor Series, he has been seen in advertisements for the 1,000th episode and it would be a shame if he didn't make an appearance (considering he has been a huge part of Monday Night Raw since its debut).
Should The Undertaker face Heath Slater?
So, let's have Undertaker face Slater at the 1,000th episode and let the "blasts from the past" angle "rest in peace."
This would give Undertaker a reason to be at the 1,000th Raw episode and would be quite a treat for the fans. Also, Undertaker wouldn't have to break much of a sweat, and his appearance wouldn't overshadow the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar storyline which will be featured on the episode.
What do you think?
Should The Undertaker be the final "blast from the past" to face Heath Slater?
What do you think the "big payoff" will be? What do you want it to be?
