Carmelo Anthony Video: Watch Knicks' Melo Scare Wax Museum Patrons
Carmelo Anthony was busy scaring the hell out of people on Tuesday, and it was hilarious.
The New York Daily News reports Knicks' superstar Carmelo Anthony was at Madame Tussauds museum in Times Square for the unveiling of his wax statue.
It was the perfect moment to pull off the usual wax museum trick of posing as a statue only to have patrons nearly soil themselves when you break character.
Watch as one fan after another loses their respective cool.
Anthony is far nicer than I would be as he calmly breaks his statuesque pose to merely say hello in a measured manner.
I would have liked to see a little more blood-curdling screams from the prolific scorer.
The actual figure, pictured in the NY Daily News report, is a near-exact replica, even donning the famous tattoos of Melo.
His wax figure will be placed in a room of New York sports legends, including Derek Jeter, Joe Namath and Eli Manning.
I guess he better get working on getting the Knicks a title.
