Portugal vs. Spain Live Stream: How to Watch First Semifinal of Euro 2012 Online

Xabi Alonso has the ability to make fans forget that Cristiano Ronaldo is the featured attraction. He isn't quite as charismatic as Ronaldo, but he's nearly as effective at putting the ball in the net.
You can watch these two great players battle in the first semifinal of Euro 2012. The match begins at 2:45 ET on Wednesday. It will be airing on ESPN, but if by some chance you can't get to a television, it will be streaming live at ESPN3.
Portugal must have a stellar performance from Ronaldo to have a shot at advancing. It won't be easy, Spain has allowed only one goal in Euro 2012. It will likely take one of Ronaldo's spectacular runs to score or create an opportunity for one of his teammates.
Who will score the most goals?
But as much as the focus will be on stopping Ronaldo, Portugal's defense must hold up against Spain's very capable attackers.
As good as Alonso is, he's just one of the threats the Navigators have to worry about. Fernando Torres is simply phenomenal with the ball.
In my opinion, he is one of the most underrated players in the world. For pure scoring ability, Torres is right at the top. He has a great chance to make a huge impact in this match. Even being used as a reserve, he could score the goal that makes the difference in the match.
Portugal is a talented side, but I don't see them having the depth and balance to knock off Spain. Barring an earth-shattering performance from Ronaldo, Spain will advance to the Euro 2012 finals.
