The Butler Bulldogs (No. 15 AP, No. 15 Coaches, 12-1, 21-2) host the UIC Flames (4-10, 11-13) Friday night in an attempt to build their Horizon conference lead over Green Bay (the only conference team to take down the Bulldogs so far this season).

The last time these two teams met, Butler won on the road 59-52. Since that game, the Bulldogs have gone 5-1 while the Flames have gone 2-5.

UIC has put up some good fights this season, including their first game against Butler. They have proved that they can at least keep up with better teams—an 11-point loss to Green Bay, a one-point loss to Milwaukee, a three-point loss to Cleveland State, and an eight-point loss to Youngstown State.

But the Flames have had some bad games as well—including their 57-31 loss to Wright State where they shot just over 26 percent from the floor.

We will just have to wait and see which UIC team decides to show up. It should be noted that UIC will be without head coach Jimmy Collins, who will be attending his mother's funeral.
