What Is The Rock's Legacy?

The Rock. He is a seven-time world champ, IC champ, and Tag Team champ. He has headlined four Wrestlemania (15-Austin, 16-Triple H, Big Show, Mankind, 17-Austin, 18-Hogan, all title matches expect for 18 Icon vs Icon).

He has beaten them all everyone you can basically think and in 2004 it was all over. From 1996 to 2004, nearly eight years, he changed the face of wrestling forever.

The Rock had his last match was at WrestleMania XX (20) in the most famous arena in sports Madison Square Garden (MSG), he lost that match (Randy Orton, Batista, and Ric Flair def. Mick Foley and The Rock). The Rock has done something like no one else...He could electrify an arena like no one else.

The Rock left the WWE for Hollywood in 2004 and wrestling has changed ever since he has left. So what did he leave the opportunity for others to take the spot light like Edge, John Cena, and so many others. The WWE changed the night he left the draft was announced as Vince said " It's to change things up a bit". So what has happen since "The Great One" has left let's go back to the year 2004.

2004-Randy Orton becomes the youngest World Champ

2005-John Cena and Batista became WWE and World Champs

2006-Rey Mysterio becomes World Champ

2007-Great Khali becomes World Champ

2008-CM Punk becomes World Champ

2009-Who Knows?

See the trend that some of those people are not deserving and that has happen because they had to feel the voids since people other than The Great One, Stone Cold, Ric Flair, and some others that has changed the WWE forever in some way.

The Rock will be inducted in to the Hall of Fame but the question now is When? and Who? will do it and were it will be and when. WrestleMania 26 will not have a head of the class caliber superstar other than The Rock unless they inductee "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

The WWE wants to inductee him and get him out of the way because the feeling is he is done with the WWE for good.

The WWE has found someone bigger and better and could out do with The Rock has done and the name of that Wrestler is not John Cena but the man who pinned The Rock partner Mick Foley in his last match at WrestleMania XX (20) RANDY ORTON.

If you think about that match, The Rock kind of passed the torch that night.
