Back in November 2009, Nickelback's "Burn it to the Ground" was introduced as the theme song for Monday Night Raw.

Does anyone else think it's time to change Raw's theme song? Does anyone think a new theme song should be introduced at the 1,000th episode of Raw on July 23?

Yes? Yes? That's good.

With that said, let's take a look at five songs that should replace "Burn it to the Ground" as the new theme song of Monday Night Raw starting July 23.

Note: Keep in mind that this list only consists of songs I'm familiar with and what I think would be good songs for Raw. What do I mean by good? By good, I mean energizing and fitting.

If you can think of any songs, please share them!

"Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold

Artist: Avenged Sevenfold

Song: "Scream"

Album: Avenged Sevenfold

Year: 2007

"Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold has a nice, heavy intro riff and a catchy chorus—two things that could make for a good Raw theme song.

"All Nightmare Long" by Metallica

Artist: Metallica

Song: "All Nightmare Long"

Album: Death Magnetic

Year: 2008

"All Nightmare Long" was actually used as the 2008 No Mercy pay-per-view theme song.

It has a great intro and an even better chorus. I wonder how much Metallica would charge WWE to use this song.

"Cinema" (Skrillex Remix) by Benny Benassi Ft. Gary Go

Artist: Benny Benassi

Song: "Cinema" (Skrillex remix)

Album: Electroman

Year: 2011

"Cinema" (Skrillex Remix) was used in the launch promo of the WWE Network.

It's not rock or metal, but if you ask me, it is energizing enough to be the Raw theme song.

"A Warrior's Call" by Volbeat

Artist: Volbeat

Song: "A Warrior's Call"

Album: Beyond Hell/Above Heaven

Year: 2011

From Loudwire:

‘A Warrior’s Call’ is an anthem contained on their (Volbeat) latest album ‘Beyond Hell / Above Heaven’ and it’s bursting with spastic, unharnessed, punk rock energy, while the low, throaty vocals roar and thunderous, near-tribal percussion booms throughout the song.

The song was written for Danish boxer Mikkel Kessler and even starts out with the line ‘Let’s get ready to rumble!’ There’s even a battle cry of“Fight! Fight! Fight!” that’s shouted by Kessler himself. It’s a larger-than-life song from a unique band.

Heavy, energizing, catchy, fitting, awesome.

"Good Feeling" by Flo Rida

Artist: Flo Rida

Song: "Good Feeling"

Album: Wild Ones

Year: 2011

Lyrics:

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, sometimes I get a good feeling, yeah
I get a feeling that I never never, never had before, no no
I get a good feeling, yeah

Oh oh, sometimes I get a good feeling, yeah
I get a feeling that I never never, never, never had before, no no
I get a good feeling, yeah

"Good Feeling" was the official theme song of both Survivor Series and WrestleMania XXVIII. Perhaps it should now be the official theme song of Monday Night Raw.

Just kidding.

Thanks for reading! Now it's your turn. Which songs do you think would be good Raw theme songs?
