According to a tweet from NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Arizona Cardinals and first-round pick Michael Floyd have agreed on a five-year contract worth an estimated $10 million—all guaranteed.

This means Floyd can focus on football, as he told Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com: "I was really anxious to get this out of the way and just worry about football...I’m glad it is done with."

Floyd can get back to football, indeed. What he brings to the Cardinals offense is a second big, physical receiver with speed and great hands. The duo of Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald will be a menace to defenses. It will also help the other parts of the offense work more effectively.

In similar news, according to Vince Marotta of Arizona Sports, third-round cornerback Jamell Fleming has also been signed.

Fleming will battle free-agent newcomer William Gay for a starting spot early on. Gay may have the early advantage, but the rookie has impressed coaches already and has a realistic chance of winning the competition over his new teammate.

All seven picks from the most recent draft have been signed. That seemed unlikely to happen by early June considering the team’s salary-cap issues earlier in the offseason. Still, everyone will be present in training camp, and that is as good a piece of news as could possibly have been heard.

Welcome (officially) to the Arizona Cardinals, gentlemen.
