Following his return to the company the night after WrestleMania 28, Brock Lesnar could be heading right out the same door that he came through some two months after getting under the skin of Vince McMahon.
At UFC 146 last month, Lesnar made a surprise appearance at the event, and had an unsuccessful meeting with UFC President Dana White, possibly lobbying for a return to MMA.
Here are the details from F4WOnline (via WrestlingInc.com) on the mood backstage on Lesnar along with his potential match against Triple H at SummerSlam later this summer.
Vince McMahon was reportedly so furious following Brock Lesnar recently attending the UFC 146 pay-per-view that Triple H had to talk him out of doing something drastic. Word is that Triple H wants the SummerSlam match against Lesnar bad, leading people to believe that Triple H will be going over.
It would make no sense for the WWE to have Triple H beat Lesnar at SummerSlam after the former UFC and WWE Champion was defeated by John Cena in their classic match at Extreme Rules in April.
Instead of having a part-timer like the Game defeat Lesnar at SummerSlam, the creative team should have Lesnar get the win in the match after dominating Triple H similar to his bout with Cena.
Following SummerSlam, Lesnar could disappear from television appearances until Survivor Series, where he can possibly have another headlining match with superstars like CM Punk or Randy Orton.
With Triple H possibly getting the nod for the win at SummerSlam in August, will the WWE make Lesnar’s return a bigger waste of money, with him getting beat for the second time since his return to the WWE?
