New York Yankees in for a Hell of a Season! CC, AJ, Teixeira, Torre Book, A-Rod

The Yankees are now the favorites to win the 2009 World Series. There is a lot of pressure that goes with that. When you bring in players like CC, AJ, & Tex…you have to go deep into the playoffs or you're a failure.

Going into that new ballpark will be different, but the expectations are the same. The Steinbrenners want that World Series ring, and anything less is inexcusable.

Controversy always surrounds the Yankees. Whether it’s a player's girlfriend or wife, somebody taking steroids, a new book that came out, it always seems to be front and center in the Big Apple.

The media is going to be nuts this year. It will be like the Bronx Zoo all over again. It’s all going to begin next week when pitchers and catchers report to spring training.

Will A-Rod be bashed by Yankees fans? How will Girardi handle his second season as the Yankees manager? Will Matsui, Posada, & Rivera be themselves? Will they win it all in October?

All these questions will be answered sometime this season. This upcoming baseball season will definitely be one to remember.
