NBA Trade Deadline Breakdown

The headliner of the deadline obviously is the now "up for grabs," Amare Stoudemire. But will he be traded, as KG and Pau were, to bad teams for multiple players? Or will be traded for one player of his caliber? Like a Pau Gasol-type of player.

We'll see.

But Amare isn't the only trade talk of the season. This is an odd year for the league, as having three future hall-of-famers, isn't guaranteeing Boston another championship.

Anyone from the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Washington Wizards would be the next big names in trades, as the three teams have combined for less wins than Cleveland.

Kevin Martin, Baron Davis, Caron Butler, Brad Miller, Marcus Camby, Zach Randolph, Antwan Jamison, Jason Thompson, Al Thorton, or Eric Gordon would make a fine addition to any team.

Also, Mike Miller, the "explosive player" from the Timberwolves, isn't so explosive. Look  for him to be dealt, though Kevin McHale declines trade rumors. But, players make comebacks. Just look at Shaq this year. A slip in Miami caused a trade to Phoenix, and now he's going to the All-Star game.

And there's Detroit.

And there's Toronto.

And there's Marbury.

And there's always a shocker in mid-February.

Here's one way to do it. If you don't want to look, Amare goes to the Clippers, Mike and Brad Miller go to the Suns, Gordon, Thorton, and Goran Dragic go to the Wolves, and Zach Randolph goes to the Kings. If you don't think that trade works, the website proves it.

All-Star weekend is usually the place to see these kinds of moves.

And now we wait.
