The end of People Power might be closer than ever before.

WWE's John Laurinaitis saga has taken a very interesting twist, and might have a conclusion next week.

Laurinaitis was named interim general manager by Vince McMahon in October of last year. WWE.com revealed that McMahon will return next Monday night to give Laurinaitis a "job evaluation."

Laurinaitis' chokehold on the WWE might come to an end if McMahon does not approve of the job that he is doing. What if McMahon does not agree with what Laurinaitis has done since he took over?

Will Laurinaitis actually lose his job?

Could this all be a ploy for McMahon to publicly rule Raw once again, or is this just a yearly appearance by the boss?

It sure would bring some more life to the WWE if Vince was a part of the script each week. Perhaps the feedback has been negative enough for Laurinaitis that the WWE has decided to bring McMahon back on a weekly basis.

The drama next week will have plenty of time to unfold, as Raw will be three hours long, and much of that time will probably be spent hyping McMahon's return.

One can only hope the buildup will be worth it, and it appears it will be.

So what will happen and how will it unfold? Is there a chance that Laurinaitis might actually be gone one week from now? Or is this McMahon's chance to show that he is still around, but still won't be appearing on a regular basis, as he once did years ago.

Let me know how what you're all thinking in the comments below.
