The Miz and 5 Other WWE Superstars Who Need to Start Winning

This past year, many superstars have contributed to the growth and popularity of the WWE. However, certain key players have been on a losing streak since the beginning of the year.
The WWE needs to maintain their interest and support of their veteran wrestlers and the upcoming young talent. They should build around their crop of former superstars and give them a run, not bury them in favor of their unproven talents. Less Funkasaurus and Ryback and more of last year's stars should be the WWE’s focus.
Here are six WWE superstars who need to start winning.
6. Chris Jericho

Even though he’s been suspended under controversy, Jericho hasn’t been winning any big matches.
He failed to win the Royal Rumble and lost back-to-back WWE Title matches against CM Punk. He also lost again in Over the Limit to Sheamus in a Fatal-Four-Way for the World Heavyweight Title.
If Jericho comes back and wins at least one match on pay-per-view, his latest run could be salvageable. However, Jericho needs to defeat a viable opponent and not someone in mid-card status.
5. Jack Swagger

The former World Champion captured the United States title from Zack Ryder in January. Just when he seemed to get back on track, he lost the title to Santino Marella.
Even though he allied himself with Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero, Swagger still has fallen on hard times.
Swagger has needed a victory since 2010, and still needs one now.

He will be against Daniel Bryan and WWE Champion CM Punk for the title at No Way Out. Kane’s gotten there before through interference. He needs to win and pick up momentum by beating relevant opponents.
Maybe at No Way Out, Kane returns to his winning ways.
3. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler became the leader of the mid-card pack last year when he was the United States Champion. After failing to capture the WWE Title from CM Punk, Ziggler concentrated on being a tag team with Jack Swagger. They have failed in capturing the tag team titles.
Ziggler’s been on the receiving end of losses in both singles and tag team matches.
Ziggler needs to build momentum in either division. He can get back on track if he captures a championship.
The tag team titles with Swagger would be a step in the right direction for the showoff.
2. Zack Ryder

This WWE Superstar single-handedly made the WWE socially relevant. After a one-month reign as U.S. Champion this year, he’s been on WWE Superstars.
Ryder still has the fans’ support. But, why is Zach Ryder back to where he started?
The market was ripe for his merchandise, and WWE needs to build their mid-card talent around someone other than Santino Marella and Cody Rhodes.
Ryder is perfect as that mid-card talent. Just give him the ball and let him grow as a competitor.
1. The Miz

He main-evented WrestleMania 27 and successfully defended the WWE Title against John Cena. He picked up the victory against Zach Ryder for Team Johnny at WrestleMania 28. Yet The Miz is still in the doghouse.
He went from main eventer to a glorified jobber, losing to an array of superstars. Does anyone remember the last time Miz won a match?
Miz shouldn’t be in the main event picture right now, but he should be winning matches. Miz was a formidable threat to the title, and he still should be.
