Apparently, the MMA world hasn't seen the last of Brock Lesnar.

The former UFC heavyweight champion was in attendance at UFC 146 on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Lesnar's appearance is peculiar for the fact that he rarely shows up to watch live events. The Internet is already buzzing with rumors about the possibility of him returning to the UFC to resume his fighting career.

When approached about Lesnar at the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White seemed as surprised as everyone else.

"I dunno," shrugged White, when asked about Lesnar's appearance. "Apparently, now he's a big fan. He was here. I think that says it all."

White admitted that he hadn't talked to Lesnar yet, but he appeared optimistic when asked if there was any chance the WWE star would cross back over to the UFC.

"Possibly, yeah," White said. "When I [talk to him], I'll let you know."

Lesnar officially announced his retirement from fighting after losing to Alistair Overeem in December 2011.

With his MMA career behind him, Lesnar sought out his professional wrestling roots and returned to the WWE for a short while.

It'll be interesting to see if he truly has interest in returning to the Octagon. His progression was somewhat marred by long periods of inactivity due to multiple cases of diverticulitis, an intestinal disorder.

What say you, MMA fans?

Was he there to just watch and enjoy the show, or could Lesnar really be interested in dusting off his gloves and stepping back into the cage?
