The Top 10 Cheerleader Uniforms in Pro Sports

After hours of painful research and evaluation I have come up with the Top 10 best professional Cheerleader uniforms. I am not a fashion guru but I am a sports fan, and I know what kind of uniform inspires me to root for a team and what doesn’t.

It may be the colors, the tassels, skirts or shorts, or it could be the strategic placement of the logo, who knows? Some Cheerleader uniforms have mystique, others have pizzazz but one thing is certain, they make me want to stand up and cheer for that team. Here it is the Top 10 Professional Cheerleader uniforms of all time.

10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s the fact that the uniform makes me believe she could be a wench on a Buccaneer crew. Way to keep the theme of the franchise alive.

9. Denver Broncos

I like the color scheme- it reminds me of when Elway was still there. (Not that you are actually going to be thinking about players during this slideshow.)

8. Washington Wizards

They just remind me of one of those Jersey dresses that Mariah Carey wore during MJ’s last All-Star game. It was “inspiring” then, it is “inspiring” now. Yeah, I’m going to stick with “inspiring” as the word of the day.

7. Houston Rockets

Houston is hot, as are these uniforms. I like the over all modern look, I am glad however that Yao Ming isn’t sporting this uniform on the court.

6. San Francisco 49ers

The gold diggers? They actually go by the team name of the gold rush squad, which is more PC as are the uniforms.

5. Miami Heat

Well this squad brings the heat every night. I like how the team management really thought about it, its hot in Miami so we don’t want layers. Good call.

4. Washington Redskins

Perhaps a sleeper? But the Redskins know how to dress their cheer squad, obviously.

3. Oakland Raiders

The notorious Radierettes. Classic uniform that has not changed much over the years. Surprisingly neither has Al Davis.

2. Los Angeles Lakers

The Legendary Laker girls. LA has a ton of talent when it comes to the position of Laker girl. I bet their bench is deeper than the Lakers with Andrew Bynum. But this is about the uniforms; it takes a bold franchise to wear yellow and purple in public.

1. Dallas Cowboys

Probably the most famous cheerleading uniform on the planet. The Country Music Channel has a reality show about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader tryouts. Putting on this uniform in cheerleading is like putting on a gold medal in the Olympics. It is a classic.
