WWE News: Stars Who Will Benefit Most from RAW's Transition to 3 Hours
The WWE has announced their intentions of going from their normal two-hour edition of their flagship show Monday Night RAW to a three-hour live show that they claim will be the first of its kind.
John Cena was the first to report the news of the company’s transition to three hours, on Twitter nonetheless:
"STARTING Monday Night July 23 @USA_NETWORK WILL BE ADDING A 3RD HOUR TO @WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - PERMANENTLY. #3hourRaw
— John Cena (@JohnCena) May 17, 2012"

WWE's Danhausen Reacts to Knicks' Historic NBA Finals Rally vs. Spurs, 'Do Not Doubt Knickshausen'
While this move will be great financially for the WWE as a business, this is even better news for the superstars that aren’t getting the proper push with the current layout.
Another hour means more wrestling, and that’s always a good thing.
Ryback
While many jaded wrestling fans have compared Ryback to Goldberg as a jab, they fail to realize Goldberg was one of the best sports entertainers in history. With more time, Ryback can prove he has an impressive enough move set to get over big.
The star fits the WWE’s ideal mold for their future superstars, and his current push to the top is coming right from the Vince McMahon himself.
There's a bright future for Ryback.
With the extra time during RAW, it will be easier to drag storylines out and get fans to care about stars. If the WWE can find the right angle for Ryback, he will be one of the next big WWE faces.
Brodus Clay
While Brodus Clay’s current gimmick was originally intended as a punishment, this is the kind of cheesy character that can get over big with the WWE Universe.
The Funkasaurus is already huge with the kids.
As fun as Brodus has been for everyone, his lack of in-ring skills and non-squash matches leave many fans bored and wondering how long the charade will continue.
As long as the WWE uses the time to not only let Brodus dance, but to further his and other wrestler's storylines, there's no doubt Brodus could be a huge sell for the kids.
Antonio Cesaro
While the fact the WWE has never liked to push stars that they didn’t build is still evident, the WWE doesn’t view Ring of Honor as a major threat.
In fact, they view them as more of a feeder system than a competitor.
With more time on Raw and SmackDown, Cesaro is the kind of star that will benefit from his time on the air and make people care about him. With a similar work rate and ethic as Daniel Bryan, all Cesaro needs is the time and storyline to be effective.
The perfect scenario would consist of him fighting on the midcard while he earns his stripes, eventually winning the U.S. title. After throwing the U.S.Title down in disgrace, Cesaro could bring back the European title and rule the midcard.
