WWE News: Which Match Will Be the Main Event Tonight at WWE over the Limit 2012?

As the WWE returns to pay-per-view for the third time in a span of eight weeks tonight, Over the Limit doesn’t have the same kind of firepower in the card as WrestleMania 28 and Extreme Rules had in the month of April.

With four championship matches and the grudge match between John Cena and John Laurinaitis, which match will earn the coveted spot of the main event for the card tonight?

Here are the details from F4WOnline via WrestlingInc.com on what match will close tonight’s pay-per-view event from the capital city of the Tar Heel state.

At last word, the John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis match will close tonight's WWE Over the Limit pay-per-view from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Among the matches scheduled, the WWE Championship match between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan should be the one to end the show as the two superstars have the potential to tear the roof off the PNC Arena later today.

The Fatal 4 Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship would be another strong candidate for the main event with the big names in the match like Randy Orton and Chris Jericho along with Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio.

As we move to the Cena-Laurinaitis match, it seems to have run-in potential written all over it tonight as the Big Show is the most obvious person that could appear to help Laurinaitis after being “fired” this past Monday night on Raw SuperShow in Pittsburgh.

With the main event likely not changing for Over the Limit tonight, I just hope the WWE pulls a gigantic swerve on all of us fans for something shocking instead of the predictable finish we expect to see later on pay-per-view.

In all of the matches scheduled to take place tonight in Raleigh at Over the Limit, which match would you like to see close the event if it’s not the grudge match between John Cena and John Laurinaitis?
