Isaac Luber's College Basketball Poll, First Edition

Isaac LuberSenior Analyst IFebruary 2, 2009

Hi, everyone! I'm not the biggest college basketball fan, but since my Nittany Lions are doing well, I've decided to keep an eye on the games this year. So, here are my rankings for the best teams in the country as of Monday afternoon. Feel free to post your own in the comments section.

I rank teams mostly off of record, but also off of quality wins, and how they fare during the week.  Some factors will contradict others, which will leave me in a bit of a dilemma, and that's when a little bit of bias comes in.

1) Connecticut Huskies

2) Oklahoma Sooners

3) North Carolina Tar Heels

4) Pittsburgh Panthers

5) Duke Blue Devils

6) Wake Forest Demon Deacons

7) Louisville Cardinals

8) Marquette Golden Eagles

9) Clemson Tigers

10) Butler Bulldogs

11) Xavier Musketeers

12) Purdue Boilermakers

13) Michigan State Spartans

14) Memphis Tigers

15) Minnesota Gophers

16) Villanova Wildcats

17) UCLA Bruins

18) Gonzaga Bulldogs

19) Texas Longhorns

20) Illinois Fighting Illini

21) Kansas Jayhawks

22) Syracuse Orangemen

23) Penn State Nittany Lions

24) Utah State Aggies

25) Davidson Wildcats
