Arsenal Player Ratings vs. West Ham

Callum D'SouzaFeb 1, 2009

Manuel Almunia (6)- Not a lot to do which is becoming a bit of habit. At least he did not let in a goal.

Bacary Sagna (7)- Usual top notch defending as well as some lovely crosses.

William Gallas (7)- Started in front of Djourou, but kept his mouth shut and did his best to contain the West Ham attack. Tidy performance.

Kolo Toure (6.5)- Tidy, solid and some handy attacking.

Gael Clichy (6)- Looked a bit lost at times but none the less defended relatively well.

Emmanuel Eboue (6)- He actually looked dangerous when he had the ball. Good balance and pace, plus looked very strong. Mixed emotions when he trudged off injured.

Denilson (6.5)- For once go to play in the middle and did not disappoint. Showed calmness, maturity and some nice passing.

Abou Diaby (6.5)- Looked strong with the ball and passed well. His shooting was off but not his commitment. Shame to see him stretched off in the dying minutes.

Samir Nasri (7)- Looked very dangerous with the ball and was easily Arsenals best attacker.

Nicklas Bendtner (6)- Was forced out wide by some bad management but the Dane was not too bad with some tidy balls and headers. Probably shouldn't of started in front of van Persie.

Emmanuel Adebayor (5)- Awful from the Togolese striker and do not know how he stayed on the pitch for the full 90.

Substitutes

Carlos Vela (6)- Got a chance to show his worth and was decent enough. Some handy crosses and runs. Silly Dive earned him a booking.

Robin van Persie (6)- Why he did not start know one knows. Tidy and showed some glimpse of brilliance.
