During last night’s episode of Raw SuperShow, John Laurinaitis' fingerprints were all over the show, from his confrontation with Triple H to his firing of the Big Show to his face-to-face meeting with John Cena at the end of the program.
In their face-to-face meeting, Cena did a good job at tearing down the general manager of Raw and Smackdown, as well as with telling Laurinaitis that he would be fired by the WWE Board of Directors if he loses Sunday at Over the Limit.
Here are the details from F4WOnline via WrestlingInc.com on why Cena’s promo went the way it did last night:
Because of the divorce news that came out last week, WWE officials wanted to make sure that John Cena was upbeat and positive on last night's RAW Supershow from Pittsburgh.
Even though the WWE attempted to make him seem positive at the end of the show, the impending divorce between John Cena and his wife will likely be brought up by the fans in their future chants.
While it’s just a matter of time before the fans start chants at live events, the company shouldn’t bring Cena’s personal situation into televised story lines.
With their match only five days away at Over the Limit in Raleigh, North Carolina and with the general manager’s job on the line, how do you see the match between John Cena and John Laurinaitis ending this Sunday?
