Earlier today, the fighters for the Ring Kings card tomorrow at the MGM Grand weighed in for their respective fights tomorrow.

Starting off with the undercard, former world champion Carlos Quintina (28-3 22KOs) weighed in at 154 pounds while his opponent Deandre Latimore (23-3 17KOs) came in a little heavier at 154.5 pounds. T

he fight was contracted at a 155-pound max weight limit so he's in the clear. Both men will be fighting for the vacant NABO junior middleweight title.

Next, was the undefeated prospect Jesse Vargas (18-0 9KOs) against veteran Steve Forbes (35-10 11KOs). The young prospect came in at 146 pounds even while his veteran opponent tipped the scales at 146.5 pounds.

Forbes is a late replacement (less than two weeks notice) for Alfonso Gomez who had to drop out due to injury.

After that was the hugely popular Saul Alvarez (39-0-1 29KOs) taking on former three-division champion Shane Mosley (46-7-1 39KOs). Mosley was the first to weigh in and entered the scale at 154.5 pounds. The weight limit was 154 pounds, so Mosley was given an hour to lose the half pound.

It wasn't a serious problem as he had weighed in at another scale on point, so he can lose the half pound without seriously hurting himself for tomorrow's fight. Canelo was next to weigh in and came in at exactly the 154-pound weight limit.

Finally, the two stars entered the stage to be weighed in. The crowd was an indication of how big this event was, as there were thousands of people not only inside, but outside the MGM Grand for the weigh-ins.

First to go was the challenger, Mayweather. He came in at the heaviest he has ever weighed in at 151 pounds. He looked incredibly in shape and ready to go for tomorrow's fight. Cotto was next and tipped the scales at an even 154 pounds, meeting the weigh limit exactly.

The stare down between the two fighters was pretty intense as both men stared at each other, not saying anything at first, for quite a long time. Mayweather tried to intimidate Cotto by chewing gum in his face and smiling at him mockingly, while Cotto stood their with a stone face staring straight forward.

They both started to talk to each other and had to be broken up by their respective camps.

With that being done, all that's left is for each man's fight to take place tomorrow in one of the biggest fights of the year so far.
