WWE News: Former WWE Tag Team Champion Gets Tricked by Parody Account on Twitter

It hasn’t been a great past seven months for former WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne.

The trouble for Bourne began last November as he was suspended 30 days for his first violation of the WWE’s Wellness Policy after winning the WWE Tag Team Championship with Kofi Kingston in August from David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty.

After returning to the company on December 18, 2011, Bourne was suspended 60 days for his second violation of the WWE’s Wellness policy on January 15 following losing the Tag Team titles to Primo and Epico at a live event.

Prior to returning the WWE after serving his second suspension, Bourne was in a car accident this past March in which he suffered a broken foot with four different breaks along with five dislocations.

If all that happening in the aforementioned span of seven months wasn’t enough, Bourne was tricked by a person on Twitter claiming to be the manager of Lord Tensai, Mr. Sakamoto.

@findevan When you return,my master Lord Tensai will make sure you are gone for good.

— Sakamoto (@SakamotoWWE) May 3, 2012

With the WWE using social media sites like Twitter to help advance feuds off television, Bourne would go on to reply to the parody account, as he thought it would be good to lay the ground work for a feud later this year.

What kind of man has a master? #iaintscared RT @SakamotoWWE: @findevan When you return,my master (cont) tl.gd/h9140e

Shortly after the tweet, a fan of Bourne's pointed out the account he was talking to was not that of the real Mr. Sakamoto, to which Bourne simply replied “Crud!” when learning the truth.

Even though it means nothing to be tricked by a parody account, the recent troubled career of Bourne in the WWE might be drawing close to an end with the annual spring cleaning the company does each year as they get rid of under-performing talent.

After going through all the trouble with his two suspensions and foot injury, where do you see Bourne’s career going when or if he finally makes his return to the company?
