Forza Inter! Forza Milan! Forza… Twitter?

Inter Milan will host AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday, and Twitter is already lighting up.

Both sets of fans are encouraging their own team, and both are taking shots at each other.

And for added spice, there's the complicating factor of the Scudetto race between AC Milan and Juventus.

Inter won the first league matchup this season 1-0.

It should be an interesting weekend in Serie A. Before we get there, here are what some of the fans are saying ahead of the big derby.

Potentially a Big Day

Sunday could turn into a memorable day for AC Milan.

A Milan victory over arch-rivals Inter, coupled with a Juventus draw or loss at Cagliari (Juventus are undefeated this season, by the way) would send Milan to the top of the table with one match left.

It could also end Inter's slim hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League via a third-place finish. Inter currently trail third-placed Napoli by three points.

Milan Momentum

Milan have momentum heading into the derby, having closed their deficit to one point behind Juventus with three straight wins.

That's a good omen for some fans.

Rough Season

It's been a rough season for Inter.

The Nerazzurri started the season under the guidance of manager Gian Piero Gasperini (pictured). He was fired in September after a string of poor results.

Claudio Ranieri took over and for a short time seemed to have turned around Inter's fortunes. But after another poor run, Ranieri was also sacked.

Now under Andrea Stramaccioni, Inter are pushing for Champions League qualification, and the fans are trying to stay optimistic.

Poor Defense

Part of Inter's poor form this season has been a result of inadequate defensive play.

As this Tweet points out, the Nerazzurri's defense has been leaky all season—even when their star defender has been in the lineup.

His stats aren't correct, though. Inter have conceded 55 league goals heading into this weekend's match.

Tweeting, WAG-Style

You might be wondering what Yolanthe Cabau, the super-hot wife of Inter's Wesley Sneijder, is Tweeting about this week.

Well, wonder no more.

Fighting for the Scudetto

Finally, Milan are chasing their 19th Scudetto this season.

Thankfully for fans, the number 19 kinda, sorta fits into Tweets.

Actually, you can be the judge.
