What's Stopping David Beckham's Permanent AC Milan Transfer?

Behind every successful man, there is a woman. Behind every professional decision of a star footballer, there is a fabulous diva wife!

Fans, football experts, fellow Milan teammates—and even David Beckham himself—have all hinted several times recently that he might make his move to Milan permanent.

And it looks so simple. A star footballer who had lost his charm getting to play in Europe again.

Then what is stopping him from staying on at Milan?

Well, making the decision is a rather spicy affair. A 'Posh spicy' affair to be exact.

Reportedly, Victoria Beckham is completely opposed to the idea of making a permanent move to Milan. Not just because she loves shopping in Hollywood so much, but this time, it's for the sake of the kids, too.

The Beckhams have three boys—Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz. All of them have settled quite comfortably in Los Angeles. They have lots of friends there, they are enjoying school and activities, and look at L.A. as their home now.

Not to mention, Posh herself has grown used to living the Hollywood celeb life now. Apparently, there just aren't enough Italian fashion boutiques to lure her out of California.

David on the other hand, desperately wants to stay with Milan. His three-month loan from his club, the L.A. Galaxy, to the Italian giant AC Milan has re-ignited his vigor and love for soccer.

Playing alongside the likes of Ronaldinho, Pato, Maldini and the like is the most compelling drug for any footballer. The chance to taste European games again has only heightened his addiction.

It's a major decision for the English couple—much bigger one than their move from Madrid.

Victoria doesn't want to do anything to upset the lives of their kids, but David Beckham is intent on continuing at Milan. Their marriage, which has always been a target for ruthless media rumors, is flirting with a feud over this issue.

With just three days remaining before the January transfer window closes, will David Beckham actually stay at Milan?
