WWE News: Check out the Newly Released Poster for Return of No Way out in 2012
In the newly released poster for No Way Out returning to pay-per-view on June 17, AJ finally gets some payback on former World Heavyweight Champion, and storyline boyfriend, Daniel Bryan as she ties him to a set of railroad tracks like in classic movies.
Following the 2009 edition of No Way Out, the event was replaced on the schedule with Elimination Chamber as it took over being the lone February event before WrestleMania at the beginning of April each year.
Along with returning to the schedule this June, the trend of the WWE adding a special stipulation to the event will continue as the main event matches at No Way Out will be held inside a traditional steel cage instead of the massive Elimination Chamber or Hell in a Cell.
In the DVD synopsis of a forthcoming WWE Home Video collection looking back at the best of past No Way Out events, we were given a little more information on the returning event.
After a three year hiatus, WWE No Way Out is back and recharged! The annual pay-per-view that became notorious for its brutal, main event Steel Cage matches gets reincarnated, but this time the Superstars of WWE will take the thematic event a step further, as they find new and innovative ways to prevent opponents from escaping. All stipulations in place, which may include Lumberjack, Strap, Chain, Steel Cage, Handcuff matches or more will ensure no respite from the chaos inside the ring.
With the steel cage match being the center of attention at the newly revived No Way Out, the WWE made a good choice of featuring the match as it has almost dropped off the map, with only a few matches a year on WWE television.
Whether the poster for No Way Out will make any impact on the action, we’ll see later this summer. Do you think the return of this classic WWE event will be a success with the steel cage match format or will it be dumped to the side during the summer of 2013?
