After a rain delay of approximately one hour, Friday's game between the Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers has been postponed. The two teams will make up the game in a day-night doubleheader Saturday at Comerica Park.

One of the things major leaguers using Twitter has taught us is the various ways that ballplayers entertain themselves while waiting out a rain delay.

Last season, Brad Penny posted video of a hockey game (via Twitter) inside the Tigers' clubhouse during a rain delay last May. (The mystery of who was playing goalie and took a shot to the mask was never solved by Tigers beat reporters nor bloggers.)

As Mike Napoli showed us on his Twitter account, however, the Rangers decided to play cowboy during this rain delay in Detroit. Well, at least Adrian Beltre decided to go Western, donning rookie Robbie Ross' hat.

Take a look at the whole photo, and you can see that Beltre channeled his inner Chuck Connors.

Couldn't someone find Beltre a rocking horse to complete the look? Maybe Ross was working on that when Napoli snapped the photo.

Careful with that gun, Mr. Beltre. You'll shoot your eye out.
