Derek Gauthier makes his return to MMA taking on Dave Pariseau at XMMA 7: INFERNO. Derek's last match was billed as the battle to be crowned "the next GSP" against Yannick Galipeau at TKO 32. Derek won that match by rear naked choke in round one, but has not been in the octagon since due to a back injury.

In Dave Pariseau, Gauthier is facing a man who has fought some of the best in Canada on his way to a 7-6-1 record. Dave was supposed to have fought in XMMA 6 along with his 2 brothers, but had to pull out due to injury. Both fighters have a lot to prove, and a win would catapult either of them to top 5 status.

Here is the final card for XMMA 7:
Phil Baroni (13-10) vs Guillaume de Lorenzi (5-0)
Martin Désilets (8-2) vs Todd Gouwenberg (9-4)
Christiane Cyborg Santos (6-1) vs Marloes Coenen (16-2)
Steve Claveau (8-7-1) vs Kajan Johnson (14-10-1)
Thierry Quenneville (12-8) vs Douglas Evans (6-4)
Dan Grandmaison (8-6) vs Markhaile Wedderburn (8-3)
Mike Ricci (3-0) vs Eddie Fyvie (7-1)
Tim Wadsworth (3-0) vs Shane Rice (4-3)
Derek Gauthier (3-0) vs Dave Pariseau (7-6)
Valerie Létourneau (1-2) vs Kate Roy (1-1)
William Romero (3-0) vs Mitch Gagnon (2-0)
Daylin Logan (1-0) vs Dominic Poissant (0-1)
John Makdessi (2-0) vs Amir Uddin (0-0)
Sebastien Deroy (0-0) vs Jeff Royer (0-0)
