Sports Movies: Best and Most Underrated of the Past 20 Years

Hoosiers. The Natural. Field of Dreams. Rudy. Rocky. Raging Bull. Bull Durham. The Pride of the Yankees.

Listed above are eight of the greatest sports movies ever made. What else do they all have in common? They are all at least 20 years old now, with the exception of Rudy, which came out in 1993. 

So which are the classic sports movies of the past 20 years? Sure BASEketball was funny, but come on. Mr. 3000? No thanks. OK, before everyone jumps all over me, I am not suggesting that there are no good sports movies made anymore. In fact, there are quite a bit. I am talking about the classic—the movie that will stand the test of time within the genre. There are some that have come out in the past two decades, albeit perhaps not as many as in the past.

Without further ado though, here are the top 10 sports movies of the past two decades, followed by the top 10 most underrated sports movies of the past 20 years.
