Brock Lesnar WWE Return: Stars Who Benefit Most from Brock's Comeback
With the return of former UFC and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar to Raw this past Monday, it’s time to figure out which superstars benefit from this move the most.
While a guy like John Cena will benefit directly from the publicity of Lesnar’s return, there are other stars who should be thanking Lesnar for returning.
All of the following WWE superstars will benefit from a monumental return like the one Brock and WWE gave us this week.

John Cena
This is the easiest answer to who benefits most from Brock Lesnar’s return; John Cena is going from working with a guy who makes movies in The Rock to the only man to ever help sell over a million UFC PPVs in Lesnar.
As bad as the move to have Cena lose at WrestleMania 28 was, it is more acceptable now that WWE knows it has Brock Lesnar to shoulder the mainstream load. With John Cena getting F-5’d, he has been finishing-moved into immortality.
Every major new carrier that talked about MMA was talking about WWE, once again bridging the gap between the mainstream and the WWE universe. As long as Lesnar is in WWE, MMA fans will be interested in what the company will do with him.
CM Punk
With CM Punk retaining the WWE title and continuing the feud with Chris Jericho, having Brock Lesnar return will help Punk’s run as WWE champion.
The ratings didn’t jump much for The Rock, which made the company feel good in the sense that CM Punk was already drawing as many people as he could on his own. With Lesnar around, it’s just more eyes on the product.
While it makes Punk look good in the eyes of the shot-callers, the best thing that could possibly come of this would be a feud with Brock vs. CM Punk. That would be epic.
The Undertaker
After one of the greatest matches in his career, The Undertaker proved to the world that he still has what it takes to put on five-star matches on the biggest stage of them all. With that said, though, he will be gone from TV for awhile.
Most fans have come to grips with The Undertaker’s work schedule, but Brock Lesnar’s reappearance in WWE alleviates what little pressure there was for Taker.
With the media focus squarely on Lesnar, its possible for the trio of Shawn Michaels, Triple H and The Undertaker to fade out of the spotlight for a few months without hurting ratings.
