After a stellar career with the WWE that culminated with being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last weekend in Miami, the fans of the Rated-R Superstar, Edge, will get a new WWE Home Video release next week on April 10.

In addition to a full-length documentary spanning Edge’s career, the DVD and Blu-Ray will have more than 10 full-length matches that includes his retirement speech following WrestleMania 27 last spring.

World Heavyweight Championship Match

WrestleMania XXVII 3rd April, 2011

The collection starts out with a great match with a contest between Edge and Christian in the early part of their careers in 1995 before they made it to the WWE as part of the Brood in 1998.

As we go later into the collection, the TLC match for the WWE Championship between John Cena and Edge in his hometown of Toronto was, in my opinion, the best of all the TLC matches in the Rated-R Superstar’s career.

While becoming another victim of the Undertaker at WrestleMania, the match with the Phenom in 2008 was one of the best matches for Edge at the biggest WWE event of the year, only topped by the aforementioned Triangle Ladder match.

In what would be the final match of his career before his sudden retirement from wrestling, it would have been awesome to see Edge close out his career against Christian inside of Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania 27.

Even though it has been included on many past collections, I think it would’ve been good for the WWE to add the Triangle Ladder Match from WrestleMania 2000 in addition to the first TLC match for the WWE Tag Team titles from Summerslam 2000.

So Bleachers, do you think you’ll be picking up the new Edge DVD next week, and are there any matches from the Hall-of-Famer that should have been included on the collection?
