WWE WrestleMania 28: A John Cena Loss Would Devastate His Character

John Cena and The Rock will finally settle their differences at WrestleMania 28. Their match is being hyped as the greatest match in the history of the WWE.

What makes this match even more intriguing is the unpredictability of the outcome. It would not be a surprise if Cena or The Rock won. However, a Rock win will be devastating for Cena.

Cena has been a superstar who has always been able to overcome the odds. He has lost support from many fans because of his "Super-Cena" character.

Despite the turn of the crowd and the criticism of The Rock, Cena has stayed true to who he is. He refuses to change what he believes in. 

Their rivalry started because Cena took a shot at The Rock for ditching the company to become a movie star. The Rock made a surprising return to be the host of WrestleMania 27. In his return promo, he called out Cena for the things he said. Their feud has been building up for over a year.

Cena's main angle in this feud is that there was truth in his statements. He argues that he is there for the fans every week, whereas The Rock is never actually there for them.

It would make sense that the superstar who has wrestled on a regular basis for the last 10 years would beat a superstar who has only wrestled in one match in the last seven. But the WWE does not always make sense.

Cena also claims that he needs to win this match because this is all he has. 

If Cena loses to The Rock, he will finally find a challenge that he can't overcome. He will appear weak because the wrestler that is finally too much for Cena, is not a full-time wrestler. A loss will cause him to lose "the only thing he has."

Cena would be forced to change. He will no longer be the "Super-Cena" character that he has become. While many fans would probably embrace the change, Cena will have to do what he claimed he would never do. 

Because this match is being hyped so heavily, a Cena loss would be devastating. He would be left in a hole that he would have to climb out of.

The Rock is one of the faces of an old era and Cena is the face of the current WWE. Cena losing would not only be devastating for his own character, but for the current era of the WWE.
