WWE Rumors: Batista, Brock Lesnar and Stars WWE Needs for WrestleMania 28

With WrestleMania 28 just a few hours from consuming our entire lives, the rumors are flying with the possibility that former WWE stars could be returning to the company.

Superstars like Brock Lesnar, Batista and Albert have all been rumored to make their return to the company at some point, but the talk has intensified as the Super Bowl of wrestling approaches.

All of the following stars have been rumored to be returning, but there is a chance that WrestleMania 28 may be a huge welcome home party for at least two of these WWE superstars.

Batista

Many fans weren’t fond of Batista during his tenure with the WWE, but he has the size, strength and speed to be the perfect WWE superstar.

With a seriously thin roster, it’s time for the WWE to admit their faults and bring back Batista full time or as much as he is willing to work. According to Wrestling Observer, the WWE picked up the star from his Miami hotel.

The addition of Batista to the roster would be a great move for the WWE. Just think back to the excellent feud the former WWE superstar had with both John Cena and Edge over his last year with the company.

Brock Lesnar

With all of the UFC roadblocks out of the way, Wrestling Observer is reporting that Brock Lesnar and the WWE may be in talks about a return to the company.  

Much of the allure may be gone because of the star’s less-than-stellar run in the UFC, but he is still one of the biggest draws in the world. Brock Lesnar isn’t just nationally known, he is internationally known.

Lesnar is the kind of versatile WWE superstar that could be a face or heel and make it work against any opponent in the company. While many want to see Lesnar face The Rock, Undertaker is the only choice.

Lord Tensai

With WrestleMania 28 as the Super Bowl of wrestling, the WWE needs to blow the show out with huge entrances and huge re-debuts. According to WrestleZone, that’s where Lord Tensai and A-Train come in.

There is no doubt that something has to happen in the Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy melee on the simple principle that all the other story’s have clear members. It would be easy for WWE to bring a star like Lord Tensai back as Team Johnny’s secret weapon in the madness of this match.

A-Train has spent the last few years honing his craft in Japan, so his return as a legitimate superstar will surprise many fans. This is something to get excited about.
