Yankees Ranked World's Fifth Most Valuable Team

Forbes just released the latest list of the most valuable sports teams in all of sports. Manchester United leads the class with a value of $1.8 billion. The New York Yankees are ranked No. 5 on the list, right behind the New England Patriots.

It’s amazing how all these teams are starting to surpass the billion dollar mark. At the end of 2008, there were 24 teams in sports worth $1 billion.
