Ever since WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles in 2005, the WWE has held an opening contest—or dark match—before the company’s biggest event of the year goes on the air on pay-per-view.

So who will get the nod to be in the opening match at WrestleMania 28 this Sunday before the show actually goes on air at 7 p.m. ET?

From WrestlingInc.com:

The Usos vs. WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo has been discussed as the dark match for WrestleMania 28.

A Brodus Clay match was suggested for the dark match but at last word, he still may get a spot on the main WrestleMania card.

With every other champion in the WWE having a place on the card this weekend, it is only fair for the tag team champions, Primo and Epico, to get a match at WrestleMania against the Usos.

Instead of the tag team title match, I would have preferred to see a battle royal involving all the superstars not included on the card, as has been the case at the last two WrestleManias.

As for Brodus Clay being featured in either a dark match or on the main card, I think the WWE should definitely use the big Funkasaurus on television. He has grown into a huge fan favorite as he continues to improve his in-ring ability.

So, Bleachers, what would you like to see as the dark match at WrestleMania this Sunday if not the planned tag team match?
